ABSTRACT. This article explores information warfare in the digital space. It examines technological tools such as botnets, deepfakes, recommendation systems, large language models (LLMs), malicious data, and technical vulnerabilities. The second part of the article focuses on psychological influence, including emotional manipulation, cognitive distortions, and societal fragmentation. Particular emphasis is placed on defense methods that can be utilized by both individuals and organizations. The aim of the article is to analyze the topic and identify ways to strengthen digital security.
