Аннотация. In the digital age, the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has introduced both unprecedented opportunities and significant cybersecurity threats. One of the most concerning developments is the emergence of Deepfake technology, which combines deep learning with media manipulation to create highly realistic yet fake visual and audio content. This article explores the dangers Deepfake poses in cyberspace, particularly in areas such as fraud, phishing, misinformation, and the erosion of public trust. The research presents global case studies where Deepfake has been used for financial scams, social engineering, and political propaganda, highlighting how easily such technologies can deceive individuals and institutions. The article also reviews current technological and regulatory responses, including forensic tools, blockchain applications, AI-based detection models, and international legal frameworks. Emphasis is placed on the importance of public awareness, ethical standards, and cooperation between states, tech companies, and individuals to combat the spread and misuse of Deepfake technologies.
